For our new production base in the city of Plovdiv, we are looking for:
Production and Materials Planning Specialist
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct capacity planning and production scheduling to ensure timely replenishment of deliveries.
- Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer demands.
- Maintain a production plan based on forecast, inventory levels, safety stock levels, and customer service levels while minimizing cost.
- Manage production scheduling, material handling and production control activities to achieve production plans matching with sales requirements.
- Adjust planning according to product & material life cycle.
- Maintain status reports for production progress, work in process and raw material inventory.
- Collaborate with the team to minimize the impact of supply shortages and schedule changes.
- Post/Release/Print work orders, production orders, purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Expedites “purchased” material components shortages with the appropriate supplier, as needed.
- Close follow up & tracking of materials replenishment status, expedite deliveries to support production & customer orders.
- Assist with cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
Your Skills and Professional Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Operations Management, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Experience and knowledge in ERP system, with a strong command of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
- Experience in production planning and supply chain concepts.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
- Ability to organize large amounts of information into a coherent and meaningful format while working on multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented person, situational team player.
