This position requires a good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and cost structures, and the ability to work independently on standard costing activities, while more complex commercial decisions remain subject to management review and approval.

Prepare detailed cost models for RFQs, NPI programs, and existing production builds, including materials, labor, overhead, tooling, testing, logistics, and margin assumptions.

Analyze BOMs, drawings, specifications, and process flows to identify key cost drivers and risks.

Work closely with Supply Chain and Materials teams to obtain, validate, and maintain accurate supplier pricing.

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to validate manufacturing assumptions, labor standards, and process routings used in cost models.

Support Sales and Key Account Managers during quotation reviews, pricing discussions, and internal alignment meetings.

Update and maintain costing templates, databases, and standard assumptions in line with current manufacturing and market conditions.

Perform cost comparisons, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling to support pricing decisions and volume discussions.

Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities related to materials, processes, yield improvement, and sourcing strategies.

Participate in internal cost reviews and approval processes with BUM, GM, Finance, and other stakeholders as required.

Monitor post-launch cost performance, including PPV, labor variances, and yield impacts, and provide feedback to relevant teams.

Prepare costing summaries and reports for management and internal stakeholders.

Support customer cost breakdown requests and audits when required, under guidance from management.

Any other duties assigned by management in support of business objectives.

3–6 years of experience in a costing, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or commercial engineering role within the EMS or electronics manufacturing industry.

Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes such as PCB assembly, box build, testing, and electromechanical assembly.

Experience supporting RFQs, NPI programs, and production cost reviews.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while effectively escalating risks or uncertainties.

Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Commercial awareness and understanding of cost, margin, and competitiveness.

Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

Experience working with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
