The Role
The Failure Analysis Engineer, is responsible for conducting root cause analysis of product failures and propose counter measures for corrective action.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare FA report and propose counter measures if applicable

Prepare RMA report and attend meeting with customer when needed

Inform and work closely with the MyCom team on major FA finding, for corrective action

Attend MyCom or VQQC meeting when needed
-
Track debug activities for accuracy and improvement

Prepare troubleshooting procedure

Train debug technician and repair operators on troubleshooting of customer products
Skills & Experience
-
Degree in Electrical & Electronics
-
Experience in Failure Analysis and use of associated tools
-
Experience in reading schematics and FA methodology
-
Experience with relating component requirements in performing analysis
-
Familiar with automated functional test systems
