This position is required to be based on-site at ESCATEC Headquarters in Penang, Malaysia
we are looking for:
Manufacturing System Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and manufacturing requirements to document, develop, and implement integration solutions that connect multiple software applications, control systems (like MES, ERP, PLM), and hardware.
- Configure and maintain APIs (REST, SOAP web services) and middleware solutions to facilitate seamless data exchange and communication between manufacturing systems and ERP.
- Develop and execute test plans (unit testing, integration testing) to validate integrated systems and ensure functionality, performance, and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, IT security, production, and quality assurance, to understand integration needs and ensure solutions align with business goals.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all integration processes and provide technical support and training to end-users and team members.
- Solutions execution with project plans, define objectives, and develop timelines. Include coordinating project team members, assign tasks, and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
- Stay updated on corporate direction/roadmap for applications and systems integration (e.g., IoT, data warehouse, cloud platforms) and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Education and Experience:

3+ years relevant manufacturing systems experience in application analysis roles or functional programming.

Experience in MES implementations, Batch processing, OEE downtime tracking and production scheduling, traceability and production tracking, statistical process control (SPC), recipe management and batch execution, enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration.

Possess ERP implementation experience across all business process areas (manufacturing, warehousing, planning, inventory etc.)

Strong knowledge of files data extraction and APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and data formats (XML/JSON) integrations.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and related systems (MES, ERP, PLM, PMS).

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT or MIS or related discipline.
