The Role
The Logistic Clerk is responsible for supporting daily logistics and administrative operations to ensure smooth and efficient material flow within the organization. This position plays an important role in assisting with customs reporting, shipping documentation, and import/export activities to meet company and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in logistics, LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse), or a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily general administrative and clerical duties related to logistics operations.
- Assist with monthly LMW customs reporting and ensure timely submission.
- Handle import and export documentation and data entry.
- Prepare and organize shipping documents for local and international shipments.
- Support customs-related submissions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth delivery and material handling processes.
- Perform other duties, ad-hoc tasks, or special assignments as required by the superior.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics-related environment (preferably contract manufacturing).
- Experience with LMW and customs documentation is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiar with ERP systems such as BaaN, SAP, or InforLN (added advantage).
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Discipline, reliable, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or higher qualification.
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is an advantage.
