The Role
The Corporate Quoting Executive, is responsible for negotiating commercial terms for new project in line with targets, driving supply localization to achieve more competitive cost.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Management
- New project RFQ execution.
- Negotiate new project commercial term according to target.
- Supply localization for more competitive cost.
New Project BOM Management
- Verify supply parts’ information to ensure correct parts’ information rolled out in system.
- Co-operate with procurement engineer on alternative proposal from supply portfolio.
- FAI sample submission for customize parts.
Supplier Management
- Participate new supplier qualification for new project.
- Set up the new supplier for new project.
Supply Management
- Supply allocation for new project based on TCO, availability and quality.
Contract Management
- Negotiate commercial contract for new vendors who engaged with new project.
Others
- Collaborate with commodity team on supply portfolio.
- Handshake with commodity team for projects turn from NPI to MP.
- Liaise with commodity executive on suppliers’ pool list.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years working experience in procurement/purchasing function in a Contract Manufacturing or related industry.
- Knowledge in the related commodity supply market and sources.
- Possess commercial negotiation skill is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
