JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Periodic analysis of product margin deviation versus budget/quotation/financial targets and
work closely with Key Account Managers to drive margins improvements activities.
• Monitoring and executing of ad-hoc and quarterly mass standards costs updates to ensure
accurate bill of materials and labour overhead cost rollup for transactions processing and
decision making.
• Monthly cost centre cost variance analysis and work with cost centre costs owner to understand
costs behaviours and to improve company’s performance through various cost control measures.
• Monthly inventory reporting and analysis, reconciliation between inventory accounts in the
General Ledger and the inventory details reports.
• Monitoring of aging inventories and ensure adequate provision coverage.
• Clearly understand the contractual obligations relating to material exposure and periodic review
of E&WRQ materials exposure together with Key Account Managers to ensure material are taken
over by customers according to the agreed contractual terms.
• Periodic review of E&WRQ provision to comply with ESCAccounts requirement.
• Produce and analyse certain parts of the monthly reports (MIR & CMM) and all other reports
required from the company management and the corporate management from time to time.
• Meets the require deadlines and produce meaningful and user-friendly reports problem-solving
effectively support management decision making.
• Active involvement in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process according to
corporate guidelines and timelines.
• Coordinate month end accruals to accounting.
• Any other tasks to be assigned by the section leads.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Preferably diploma in accounting, finance or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and budgeting procedure
• Ability to communicate effectively with support groups & other departments
• Must have at least 1 year of knowledge
