The Role
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This position plays a crucial role in supporting production operations, ensuring process stability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to identify and resolve process issues.
Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Bill of Labor (BOL) calculation for RFQ projects. He/ She must ensure the standard time estimation is realistic and competitive to win the project.

Responsible for new line setup. He / She must make sure the Process Flow Chart, Work Instruction, Process Standard Time, jig and fixture and machine are readily prepared. The line capacity must meet customer minimum orders.

He/ She must make sure the InforLN Routing is properly setup prior trial run. The Routing setup must reflect production actual situation.

Responsible for the new machine evaluation, recommendation for purchase and buy-off before accepting the machine from supplier.

Responsible for the process optimization and cycle time reduction to achieve the KPI target defined by Management.

Responsible for MES implementation, execution and support.

Participate to Kaizen activities to achieve process improvement, cost reduction and yield improvement.

Perform any other duties assigned by superior.
Skills & Experience
-
At least 4 years of working experience in the mechatronics or electronics manufacturing company, preferably experience in box build assembly.

Good experience in motion time study technique.

Good experience in process flow and work instruction preparation.

Good experience in jig & fixture design.

Good experience in manufacturing cost analysis and optimization.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.

Able to work independently, self-motivated, commitment and result oriented.
