The Role 
As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for handling and moving materials safely within the warehouse, store, and production areas, including operating forklifts, supporting stock handling activities, and maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, stack, and store materials and finished goods within the warehouse, store, and production areas.
  • Operate forklift safely according to company procedures and safety requirements.
  • Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and other materials.
  • Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and dispatch areas.
  • Stack and arrange materials properly in designated locations.
  • Check forklift condition before starting work and report any defects immediately.
  • Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Follow FIFO requirements where applicable.
  • Assist with stock counting and warehouse activities when required.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and keep forklift operating areas clean and safe.
  • Follow warehouse procedures, traffic rules, PPE requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Complete forklift inspection and material movement record accurately.
  • Support loading and unloading of trucks when required.
  • Report damaged goods, unsafe conditions, or stock discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Perform other warehouse duties assigned by the supervisor.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Previous experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as BaaN, SAP, or Infor LN is preferred.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Self-organized, structured, independent, and self-motivated.
  • Responsible, punctual, and safety conscious.
  • Willing to learn new processes and adapt to changes.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Able to operate a forklift safely in confined areas and around personnel.
  • Physically fit and able to perform warehouse-related duties.
Qualifications 
  • Minimum SPM or Certificate in Materials Management, preferably with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
