For our new production base in the city of Plovdiv, we are looking for:

Buyer

Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of both direct and indirect materials related not only to production, but also to ensure the operation of the plant.
  • Managing requests for material enquiries and ensuring that orders are secured in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure purchase orders are placed by existing supplier contracts.
  • Resolve supplier pricing quotes in a timely, accurate manner and escalate them higher if the situation requires.
  • Identifying and reporting potential delivery issues to internal customers and through the customer service team to external customers
  • Advancing delivery deadlines and forwarding supplier responses.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of supplier data and the systems used by the company.
  • Produce and provide supplier and purchasing KPI reports and handle other incidental requests for data provision or reporting as required and on time.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to reduce the total cost of orders.
  • Identify alternatives components sources that can be qualified to lower our current price.
  • Maintain ERP data for purchasing modules, organizing and keeping of all purchasing documentation.

Qualification:
  • A university degree (technical) is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a production environment is a must.
  • Experience in purchasing at least 3+ years.
  • Experience in electronic/plastic/metal/wires components is an advantage.
  • Effective and tough negotiator, autonomous; focused, organized and results oriented.
  • Very good written & spoken English is mandatory.
  • Computer skills – MS Word, Excel, ERP.
