The Role
The Process Engineer, is responsible for PCBA and Box build process flow designing, optimizing the workability, and managing the efficiency, quality, and safety across various manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement optimum engineering processes through the use of DFM, PFMEA, and Control Plans
- Generate & Review the process flow to enhance quality and productivity through Best Practices Assembly Processes, Jigs & Fixtures Design Concepts, Error Proofing, and WI
- Generate, maintain, and ensure 100% accuracy of BOM into the InforLN system & TeamCentre
- Establish and maintain the shopfloor system (MES)
- Review in details customer documentations materials and conduct evaluations, prepare engineering report for Back End Processes and prepare part approval submission.
- Review FAI to verify and ensure parts conformance to customer requirements.
- Coordinate and ensure proper implementation of ECN
- Support NPI activities for new customer / light NPI.
- Coordinate and prepare Process Validation report and risk management for Medical products (EDM)
- Implementing and presenting KAIZEN projects.
- Document all relevant engineering documentation in TeamCntre
- Work closely with customers and managing the account
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in process engineering.
- Conversant in PCBA processes, Box Build Assembly, Jig and Fixture design concepts, PFMEA, Process Validation, SPC and Control Plan
- Critical thinking, analytical, problem solving & communication skill ( internal and external)
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or Equivalent
