The Role
As a Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency. You will support test system development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while working closely with cross-functional teams and customers
Key Responsibilities

Develop test plan, test setup and test strategies of functional testing to evaluate product performance.

Design the test setup and wiring schematic of test hardware adaptor for functional test.

Develop automated test program to streamline testing processes.

Utilize test equipment for debugging and development purposes.

Provide support, troubleshooting and upgrading test systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Perform new tester setup, debugging, and buy-off, ensuring the tester meets performance targets defined by Management, including GR&R and Cpk studies.

Communicate and coordinate with customers for test-related support.

Prepare complete test documentation for the tester.

Perform any other duties assigned by superior.
Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in test development environment.

Proficiency in LabVIEW and C programing language.

Fully understand electronic device interface such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, GPIB.

Familiar with flash memory programming using JTAG, SWD programmer.

Familiar with standard test equipment such as digital multimeter and oscilloscope.

Having knowledge of schematics and PCB design.

Good understanding of software test concepts and methodologies.

Strong problem-solving & analytical abilities.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and statistical analysis are advantages.

Knowledge in ATE (Automated Test Equipment) has advantages.
Qualifications
Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer/ Mechatronic Engineering.
