Role:
IT Support Technicians help to find and fix software and hardware problems, or any incident that is disrupting the IT systems or services that our business users depend on. Crucially the systems are live, and so the issues usually need prompt attention. Being able to stay calm and work under pressure therefore is vital.

To work alongside our customers and internal teams to create, implement, develop, train, and support suitable applications/processes, using the group's preferred software tools.

To undertake the development and management of key business support processes such as Servers, Networks and Databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and track IT issues from outset to conclusion and log all service incidents.
  • Analyse the performance of programs and in conjunction with the Programmer, correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and the approval of the IT Steering Team.
  • Confer with users when requested to gain an understanding of required changes or modifications to existing systems. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
  • Create basic scopes on the design of any modification to systems that impact both users and the IT Support team.
  • Write and maintain relevant documentation using agreed formats.
  • Analyse Windows client/server and PC-based software solutions in line with the company’s requirements.
  • Analyse, recommend improvements, develop, and maintain the company's LAN / WAN infrastructure and 365 Tennant.
  • Maintain confidentiality concerning the information being processed, stored or accessed.
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Maintaining the hardware infrastructure, including Personal Computers, laptops, Servers, Printers & LAN / WAN equipment.

Skills Required:

  • Native or very high native-level Czech language skills are a must.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Server (Windows 2012 / 2016) / LAN / WAN infrastructure technology and off the shelf packages (MS Office / 365 for example) including the installing of, maintaining, and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent internal and external customer service and communication skills.

  • The ability and willingness to learn and support new systems and applications.

  • Very proactive and self-motivated, and a good team player.

  • Organised, with demonstrable attention to detail and a strong ‘right first time and every time’ ethos (articulate and methodical).

  • Good project management and organisational skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable showing a patient and helpful demeanour.

  • Coaching and training skills.

  • Very good command of the English language.
